Wednesdays (ongoing) —

Talk, Spirit Rock, Woodacre, CA; 9-11am

45 minute meditation, talk and discussion. Class cost $8, teaching is by donation (dana). On the second Wednesday of each month, there is precept renewal between 7 and 8am (sitting, short talk, renewal ritual, discussion), followed by a potluck breakfast. (Co-teach morning class with Sylvia Boorstein). Donald will be teaching May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; June 7; July 12, 19; August 23; December 13, 20, 27.

Fridays (ongoing) — Spirit Rock, Woodacre, CA; 10am-12:15pm

Yoga and meditation: Co-teach regular ongoing class on meditation and yoga with yoga teachers (Anne Cushman, Janice Gates, Adrianne Vincent rotate) and meditation teacher Richard Shankman. Yoga is suitable for all, drop-ins welcome. Class cost $8, teaching is by donation (dana). Usual format is 1 hour yoga/movement, 30 minutes meditation, 45 minutes talk and discussion. For exact schedule of teachers, consult www.spiritrock.org. Donald will be teaching June 16, 23, 30; July 28.

**Notes on Spirit Rock Retreats

Registration: For more information, go to the Spirit Rock web site www.spiritrock.org. You can register online or by sending a check or deposit, along with a downloadable registration form and liability waiver (look up the event on the Spirit Rock website calendar to download the appropriate form), to the Registrar, SRMC, PO Box 909, Woodacre, CA 94973. Council House retreats have limited space, so please register early.

Costs: The room and board fee for 5-day retreats is $460-$310, sliding scale (likely to be set at $480-$330 for the fall retreats). Teaching and staffing of the retreats is by donation (dana) made at the end of the retreat. Please pay at the highest level of the sliding scale that you can afford. This allows others who need to pay less the opportunity to attend. Several types of scholarships are available. Please consult the web page under “Residential Retreats” and “Registration” for information on scholarships.

Daylongs cost $45-$75 sliding scale, plus a donation (dana) for the teacher. Please bring a lunch.

Directions: Spirit Rock is located at 5000 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Woodacre, west Marin, about 25 miles north of San Francisco.
